The best time to practice yoga is early in the morning. As soon as you wake up, even before your breakfast, you must practice yoga. This will keep you fresh and energetic all through the day. It will also urge you to wake up early in the morning. Wake up, finish your nature calls, wash your face and begin your yoga. Showering before yoga isn’t compulsory, but suggested.
If you are a busy person in the first half of the day, you can also do your yoga session in the early evenings. Yoga during the sunset is the second best thing to yoga early in the morning.
If you cannot find time in the evenings, you can go for the mid-day period before lunch. Eleven or Twelve in the noon is also a good time for yoga. Remember that it is better to practice yoga any time of the day than to skip it due to the shortage of time. It is good to practice yoga at the same time every day. But, being too rigid will only make you skip sessions, so have a flexible schedule. After all, yoga is one practice which doesn’t need any props or things to be done.

  • Just after a meal is not the right time to do yoga. Try to keep a time interval of at least 2-3 hours between your meals and your yoga sessions.
  • When you are suffering from chronic pains and disorders you must consult your doctor before doing some postures of the yoga. While most of the yoga postures or asanas are very simple, some do need expert advice.
  • Some postures are over stimulating. Thus, they must be avoided before the bedtime as you might not sleep well because of the activeness.

    Find a place in your home where you can get fresh air and shaded. Avoid places that are noisy. A quiet and clean space is necessary to concentrate and meditate. Avoid places with direct sunlight. If you are doing yoga outdoors, then avoid cold wind..
