Ek Omkar Yoga Teacher Training October Session Opening Ceremony

We are very happy to share that today we have started our new (October) session of Yoga Teacher Training Course with a new group of students. Our students of different levels have come from all over the world with the aim to learn the deeper aspect of Yoga. Their enthusiasm is infectious. It is also an excellent opportunity for us to help them not only achieve their goal of becoming a Yoga teacher but also to contribute to Yoga community by spreading the accurate knowledge worldwide.

In India, every new activity is started with the blessing of Almighty. So as per the tradition, we started the session with Hawan, Pooja/Worship, Mantra chanting and fire ceremony. Our friend Satyakam played guitar. Some of the pictures from the Opening ceremony are displayed here. Tomorrow is the first class.

For next 25 days, they will be immersed in the theory and practice of Yoga Asanas/Postures, Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy, and art of teaching. During the TTC they will have the opportunity to apply the new knowledge by teaching classes to their fellow students. Our students will learn how to create a positive and peaceful class environment.

On successful completion of Yoga TTC program, the students will be awarded 200 hours completion certificate. This certificate will make them eligible to teacher Yoga worldwide.
